One for the daddies: Albam

Trail parka, £225

Sorry it has taken me SO long to write about something for daddies. The truth is, there's just less cool stuff out there for men (sob). That's why I'm hugely excited to reveal London's best kept menswear secret label: Albam. Now in its third year, Albam excels at providing simply designed casual clothing (most of its produced in the UK) with a contemporary-yet-not-intimidatingly fashionable-edge. It is the only, repeat ONLY, shop I have ever taken my husband in that has prompted him to buy something in five minutes flat. The item in question was the Trail Parka, above in black, and he looks hot in it. Result. I promise you wives and girlfriends, this is the menswear shop you have been dreaming of. The shop is full of the kind of clothes you want your other half to wear and, crucially, full of the kind of clothes HE will want to wear. And the prices are affordable (from £25 for the perfect crew neck T-shirt). The staff are adorable too (cute, well dressed and super-helpful). There are three shops in London including the recently opened Upper Street branch, which Evie and I have been frequenting of late...
