Hello October and welcome back dear reader! It's good to return to the blog after a heavenly eight days in Portugal, staying at my husband's family summer house on the Algarve. So lovely taking Evie back to her ancestral roots (she is an eighth Portuguese). Evie just loved all the beach play and delicious fresh food. Her new word of the week was 'flower' pronounced 'wower' inspired by exotic blooms we came across in the rugged countryside and 'Cooca' after the little dog living nearby. Sadly, her summer dresses are now neatly packed away. Looking forward to next year already.
So, home to English winter: hmmmm. How delighted I was to spy the new collection from Belle & Boo in my inbox on my return. Somehow made the prospect of unending winter months ahead a bit more bearable. I heart that cornflower blue felted wool coat (embroidered with Boo rabbit and lined with cotton Boo rabbit print lining, just so you know). And there is that divine, reversible Umbrella skirt. Thanks to Belle & Boo, it's going to be a well dressed winter. Available from www.belleandboo.com
