New British brand, Rainwave, provide chic waterproof Teflon-coated ponchos in on-trend prints (hello animal) and elegant shapes. Here's the good news: they do them for children too. The kids sizes start at age 4 (measuring 55cm) so it's a great alternative to the traditional anorak. CLB thinks they are a brilliant option for cycling mamas and babes, too.
