Little Punk stick-on T-shirts launch

Toddlers aren't always at their most compliant when getting dressed. Miss E, for example, has VERY strong ideas about what she WILL and WON'T wear right now. At the moment anything with a pocket is IN and anything with stripes is firmly OUT. Helen Keenan, mum to a three-year-old thought a solution around the problem might be to incorporate stickers into the routine. Every kid loves stickers after all. She developed a range of T-shirt range with velcro and fabric stickers so children might actually enjoy the process of getting dressed and has just launched her label, Little Punk London. We love the idea but are yet to try them with Miss E though....it's either going to be a case of LOVE or HATE. We'll keep you posted. From £26.99 each at wwww.littlepunklondon.com

Jools Oliver's Little Bird collection for Mothercare review

The windows of the new Little Bird collection at Mothercare, Oxford Street
CLB popped into the vast Mothercare flagship on Oxford Street today to check out Jools Oliver's just-launched Little Bird  range for the high street colossus. We admit we were cynical about yet another celebrity design collaboration. Mothercare were clearly hoping for a repeat of the Myleene Klass' Baby K collection, which flew out the doors, but could Jools deliver? Shockingly yes, it's actually rather gorgeous. Mum-of-four Jools has created some really pretty (but not too twee) pieces including Liberty-esque printed smock dress and gathered skirt, a canary yellow cardigan and Scandi-style striped T-shirts for boys and girls. Overall it's less brash than Klass' more frill-filled concoctions. There's also a cute unisex rainbow decorated range for newborns, as well as bedding. The quality was fine (glad to see most things were 100 per cent cotton) and the colours bold; not a sickly pastel in sight. But of course this being Mothercare, the best bit was the prices - from £6 for leggings! And yes, Miss Evie and Little Lola will be enjoying a few new pieces in their wardrobes (see below).  Little Bird at Mothercare

CLB ♥ toddler wear at Jam Shop

Fairtrade clothes with serious fashion credentials? Check out Sahel Design, a label recently launched by Charlie Davies, a fashion editor-turned-missionary who is helping revive traditional craft techniques in Burkina Faso. As a resident of the small West African country, Charlie combines her love of fashion with her passion for humanity; every penny of profits of Sahel designs goes back to the women who make them. CLB is smitten with its exquisite accessories for women - think pretty tassel bags and chunky ebony necklaces (show your husbands and partners pronto). Now, as a fun side project Charlie has just launched a range of toddler wear made by local tailors for her online shop Jam Shop. The vibrant yet subtle Africa prints in mini designs - from just £10 for a jumpsuit - make us melt. Ethical fashion at its very best. Available from Jam Shop
